Science- Properties of Rocks (igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic, fossils and minerals)

In Science, we were investigating the properties of rocks. First, we were given a set of rocks and we had to use scientific vocabulary to try to determine which type of rock it was. Next, we did a carousel of activities to find out properties of different rocks such as permeability (whether water would soak through the rock), durability (how tough and resistant it was), hard and softness, density (floating or sinking) and we also did sketches. We put these into grids. We were super excited about handling the different rocks!
