Victorian Day

On Wednesday 5th February Years 5 and 6 were transported back to 1897.  The school hall was laid out as a Victorian classroom, with long lines of tables all facing the School Master. Sir was very strict and the children had to recite Psalms, times tables and the Kings and Queens, as well as writing them on slates or with an ink pen.  During the afternoon there were 10 activities in the hall, which included suitcases of Victorian items used to investigate who the case would have belonged to.
