Egyptian Day

This term, we have been learning about life (and death) in Ancient Egypt. As part of this unit, we were lucky to have a visit from a real live ancient historian, Mr Wells, who taught us all about how the Romans used Roman numerals, what the Ancient Egyptians believed about the afterlife and how they thought the world was created.

We also learned all about Howard Carter and his discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, what each of the main Egyptian gods were like and how to make a perfect Egyptian mummy fit for a Pharaoh's tomb.

We had lots of fun practising our mummification skills on each other!
