Welcome to St Nicolas’ Church of England School. We are a friendly, welcoming and happy school; situated on the green in the village of Taplow in Buckinghamshire.

At St Nic's, we are proud to have built a strong community. Our staff are a talented and dedicated team; we communicate well and support each other. Teachers, teaching assistants, lunchtime supervisors, play leaders, office staff and senior leaders work together to support every child in the school.  Whatever their circumstance or need, your child is a St Nic's child and our children are at the heart of everything we do. 

Together we strive to be a centre of excellence which serves our local community, focusing on the Christian values of respect, love and friendship, honesty, courage, thankfulness and peace which permeate through every aspect of school life. We build strong links between the school, families and parish, promoting the spiritual and moral development of all in the school community. We nurture each individual, giving them the encouragement and opportunities to 'be the best that we can be'.

As a school we aim to deliver an engaging and ambitious curriculum which develops a love of learning, along with skills and knowledge. In partnership with parents we help our children develop their independence, resilience and sense of responsibility so that they are fully prepared for the next phase of their education.

We have high expectations of behaviour and standards and work together to ensure that all of our learners are able to access a relevant, inspiring and high quality education in a safe and secure environment. We believe that working in partnership with parents and carers is fundamental to achieving this.
