Week beginning 12th October - Hand in on Monday 2nd November
All activities except for spelling are in LBQ
• Read for at least 30 minutes each evening; log the pages in your planner each time you read & discuss new vocab with a grown up.
• English – LBQ – Reading comprehension
• Maths – LBQ – Multiplication (1 or 2 tasks)

• SPaG – Semi-colons
• Spellings – Review the spellings you were given to learn for this half term. Test on Monday 2nd.
It is now a matter of urgency that you have a confident recall of your times tables, with division facts. You are expected to learn them over the next 2 weeks, so you can access maths after half term and beyond. Make this your priority if you are in Mrs Warrington’s times tables group. Once you have learned them, maths will be so much easier. Hard work pays off!

- Spellings – Use spelling shed or ask an adult to help you to spell the words accurately
- Going the Extra Mile – Make sure you have named all your clothing for the school trip. Practise putting a sheet on your bed and a duvet cover on your duvet.

• Grammar – LBQ – Y5 revision of main, subordinate and relative clauses
• Maths – LBQ – Read & write numbers up to 10,000,000
• Spellings – Practise the spelling words in your home learning book.

- English – Using the template you have been given as a starting point, write and rehearse a speech to apply for a Year 6 responsibility. House Captain election takes place on Friday, all other due in on Monday..
