Free School Meals and Pupil Premium

Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) and Free School Meals (FSM)

All children in reception, year 1 and year 2 in state-funded schools in England are eligible for UIFSM and therefore either a hot or packed lunch at the school.

FSM are also available to pupils in years 3 and above whose parents receive certain benefits and are verified as eligible for FSM.

Please complete the form below to the School office if you think you qualify for Free School Meals. The school cannot complete this form for you even if we are certain you are eligible.

Pupil Premium

Completing this form could also raise money for the school. The Pupil Premium is a Government scheme that provides funding to schools of between £935 - £1,320 per pupil whose parents receive one of the qualifying benefits listed on the application form.
The school can use this money to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close
the gap between them and their peers.

Currently the Department for Education School census advises the school that we have more FSM and Pupil children on role than currently claim and as a result the school is missing out vital pupil premium funding and parents are paying for KS2 meals they do not need to.

Please help the school and yourself by completing and returning the form below;
