School Lunches

The ParentPay booking system is now open to book lunches for the first week in September. The deadline for booking will be midnight on Tuesday 19th July.

We are aware that unfortunately weeks from 12th September onwards were briefly made available in error by ParentPay. This menu has now been removed and any bookings will be lost so YOU WILL NEED TO BE RE-BOOK in the first week of September.

Parents of children in Year 2: You will need to pay for lunches from September onwards. Please book your lunches for the first week of Sept in the usual way before Tuesday 19th July. Once the pupils have all been 'moved up' to their new classes on ParentPay, your account will show a debt and we would ask that you settle your account early in September.

Key Stage 1 (Years R, 1, 2) Universal Infant Free School Meals
Free hot meals are provided for children in Key Stage 1 (KS1), or you can provide a packed lunch if your child would prefer them.  Meals are ordered in advance using our online ParentPay system.  The deadline for orders is midnight on the Tuesday preceding the week of the lunches.  There is a daily choice of meat, vegetarian or jacket potato dishes and you can order as many or few lunches as you would like.    Orders can be made for a number of weeks in advance to ease the pressure of ordering on a weekly basis.

Key Stage 2 Hot Lunches
Hot lunches can be purchased for Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils.  The deadline for orders is midnight on the Tuesday preceding the week of lunches.  There is a daily choice of meat, vegetarian or jacket potato dishes and you can order as many or as few lunches as wished in any given week.  A home packed lunch needs to be provided for days when a meal isn’t ordered.  Orders can be made for a number of weeks in advance to ease the pressure of ordering on a weekly basis.

Please note that if no order is received, we cannot ‘find’ extra lunches for pupils who have forgotten their packed lunch.

Packed Lunches
If you decide to provide a packed lunch for your child, please ensure that it does not contain chocolate bars, fizzy drinks or any products containing nuts.  This helps to support our healthy schools initiative and protects those with allergies.  Please also consider not putting too much in the lunchbox, so that your child can eat it in the half an hour lunch slot.

Free School Meals
If you are receiving benefits, you may be eligible for Free School Meals.  Eligibility for Free School Meals will also trigger additional funding of £1320 per pupil which can be spent in a range of ways to support your child, so it is worth taking the time to investigate.  Forms to apply for Free School Meals are distributed termly or you can ask at the office.  Alternatively, speak to Mr Warren, Business Manager in confidence.
