Willow class prayer

Dear Lord,

Thank you for our education, our school and our futures. Let each school day be the best day possible. Thank you for all you have given us and for your forgiveness. Help us to make friends and be good friends ourselves. Please help us to be more honest like You, our Father in Heaven.

Amen

Collective worship

In Willow class, we present a collective worship assembly to each of the other classes in the school, most weeks. These are called Picture News assemblies and we discuss the latest events around the world and important news.

Our audience discusses what we have presented to them and we relate each story to our own experiences. Children have the opportunity to work together when planning their assemblies, taking on a responsibility.

Each week, there will be a prayer for every child to make their own, as well as some thoughts to take away and act on.

Children love presenting Picture News as it gives them the opportunity to work with peers, find out more about the world around them and explore our school values, as well as the Christian faith.
