Welcome to Oak Class with Mrs Louth, Mrs Barnes and Ms McCatty.
Thank you for supporting the class and their teaching team so well over a few changes. Your support has such a positive impact and we can see it in the children's positive attitude to change and learning.
This term we have some great topics planned, covering a range of interesting people and places. We will start by exploring THE SHANG DYNASTY and the wonderful world of MAGNETS AND FORCES, before moving onto learning about NATURAL RESOURCES and then beginning our BIG SCIENCE PROJECT!
Break times play an important part in the school day; the children benefit from the chance to stretch their legs and get out in the fresh air, even when there are light rain showers. Having a named, plain coat in school allows the children to make the most of this opportunity, as we will aim to play outside even on days when the weather catches us out.
Planners will be checked every Monday and reading books will be changed every Thursday. If you write a note in the planner, please tell your child so that it can be read that day by a member of staff. Planners and reading books should be brought into school every day.
Please find a range of useful information listed below. We also will keep this page up to date with photos and key information about what is happening in our class.
