Welcome to Oak Class with Mrs Cross and Ms McCatty!
We are looking forward to an exciting year with you all.
This term we have some great topics planned, covering a range of interesting people and places. We will start by exploring THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS and the wonderful world of LIGHT, before moving onto learning about EUROPE and then the fantastic world of PLANTS!
Break times play an important part in the school day; the children benefit from the chance to stretch their legs and get out in the fresh air, even when there are light rain showers. Having a named, plain coat in school allows the children to make the most of this opportunity, as we will aim to play outside even on days when the weather catches us out.
Planners will be checked every Monday and reading books will be changed every Thursday. If you write a note in the planner, please tell your child so that it can be read that day by a member of staff. Planners and reading books should be brought into school every day.
Please find a range of useful information listed below. We also will keep this page up to date with photos and key information about what is happening in our class.
