Phonics

We use the Read, Write Inc. scheme for teaching phonics. We are learning phonics as a whole class.

When you receive the green set 1 sounds practice booklet, please check back here and see which sounds have been taught, then practise at home.

Please also sit with your child and help them to form a curly c - starting from the top and not the bottom. This forms the basis for all of the curly letters: a, o, g, d and q.
