Please use the videos to help with accurate pronunciation of the sounds, and how to blend the sounds to say the full word. On the additional resources, there are pictures of  'aliens' on the nonsense words, please point out the creature and emphasise that this means the word is not a real word. Encourage your child to look for and underline the 'special friends', sound the word (preferably 'in their head') then blend the word, saying it aloud.
