30th June- 11th July- 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Picnic' by Ronda and David Armitage
Over the next two weeks we will be focusing on the story of the 'Lighthouse Keeper's Picnic'. We will be discussing the story and then design our own sandwich and picnic lunch. We hope to make our own small sandwich to have as a picnic snack after our lunch one day next week.
We will look at artwork completed by Monet in particular his work of the sea. We will discuss the colours used and our feelings towards his work.
We will also be looking at how we have grown and changed- thinking about the things we can do now we are not babies and the things we will be able to do as we grow older.
We will continue to work on developing our fine motor skills using a variety of activities and practise correctly forming each of our letters. We will be also focusing on consistently using a finger space in between each word when writing so our ideas can clearly be read by others.
